SI Leeds Literary Prize For Fiction
The SI Leeds Literary Prize for unpublished fiction by black and Asian women writers in the UK is now accepting entries for the 2014 Prize!

The biannual prize – first awarded in 2012, to Minoli Salgado for A Little Dust on the Eyes – is now accepting entries for 2014.

Three prize winners will receive £2,000, £750 and £250 for first, second and third place, plus support through Peepal Tree Press‘ Inscribe programme for writer development. The first prize entry will receive serious consideration for publication by Peepal Tree Press.

Current patrons include Bonnie Greer, Bernardine Evaristo, Bidisha and Yasmin Alibhai-Brown.

Submissions are accepted online and will be accepted until the closing deadline of 31 March 2014. To submit and find out more about the prize, check out the website.
