The Fifty-Two Sundays Project
To celebrate their love of both Sundays and poetry, Desire Books, a second hand bookshop in Sydney, Australia, are calling for submissions from poets around the world for their new project which they’ve titled the Fifty-Two Sunday Project.
Essentially, they’re looking for a virtual poet in residence. The poet in question will submit a poem a week throughout 2013, which will be published on their website.
The winner will be paid $10AUD per poem, and at the end of the year they’ll be compiled into a chapbook published by Desire and sold instore and on their website.
To enter, you should submit between 8 and 15 poems written within the last two years along with a short biography and a little bit about your writing by 9th December 2012.
