J.K. Rowling Event Live Streamed
Tickets sold out almost instantly for J.K. Rowling‘s appearance at the Southbank Centre tonight. If you were amongst the legions of fans who missed out, fear not, the event will be live streamed on YouTube (Thursday 27th September at 7:30pm).
JK will be in conversation with Mark Lawson, followed by questions from the audience, about her brand new novel, The Casual Vacancy. The book is her first for adults (in fact it’s her first non-Harry Potter).
It’s set in the world of west-country local politics and though proof copies have been embargoed, plotlines have been leaking out for weeks. The word on the street is that it’s pretty excellent, uncovering brutal undertones of a small town idyll.
