Call for Submissions: FlashTag Want Your Flash Fiction

Typewriter

Remember last year, when the FlashTag writing collective were after your smutty short stories for their anthology Quickies? They’ve teamed up with Chorlton Arts Festival to do it all over again, and they want you to get involved.

The second annual FlashTag Writing Competition is open now. Unlike last time, there’s no theme this year, so you can write about whatever you want. Send in your unpublished submissions of no more than 500 words by midnight on Friday 27th April.

Entry is free and the shortlist will be announced in May, with an overall winner announced during a free FlashTag literary shebang in Manchester on Wednesday 23rd May.

So put the dates in your diaries, get scribbling those short shorts, and see the FlashTag website for the full lowdown.
