Tattoo Tuesday: Maria’s Robert Frost Tattoo
It’s back to text for this week’s Tattoo Tuesday, with Maria Cameron‘s quote from American poet Robert Frost. Maria explains:
“The quote in its entirety it goes, ‘In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on.’ It’s a fairly widely known quote that I just happened to stumble upon while studying other Frost works.
I’ve always had an affinity towards the phrase “life goes on” but didn’t want to get a tattoo of something so straightforward. I settled on ‘it goes on’ after a year thinking about it.
‘It goes on’ is backed my belief that no matter what we experience in a day, a week, or a year; life goes on, it goes on, it goes on and all we can really do is live it.”
