Tattoo Tuesday: Sandra’s 1984 Tattoo
Tattoo Tuesdays has gone international! Last week, we had Roni, whose Neil Gaiman tattoo was done in Philadelphia, and the week before that it was Kara‘s Matilda tattoo, done in Ohio.
And this week we’ve got Sandra from Lithuania. Sandra’s tattoo features George Orwell‘s dystopian classic, 1984, and was inked as a tribute to the book, the year Sandra was born, and the David Bowie song of the same name.
Sandra has a books blog, and although it isn’t in English, we’d still recommend taking a peek at her handmade miniature books. Aside from learning bookbinding and collecting bookmarks, Sandra has a lifetime love of literature:
“Book are my biggest passion in my life. One and a half years ago, I decided to perpetuate my love for books on my body, so that book will be with me all my life.”
