Short Film About Books Gets Oscar Nomination
Valentine’s Day is almost here, and Moonbot Studios have made their own love letter to literature: The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore.
A gorgeous short film that will inevitably make you sniffle sentimentally over your afternoon cuppa, it’s also one of five short films nominated for an Oscar at this year’s Academy Awards.
Moonbot Studios describe it as “a story of people who devote their lives to books and books who return the favour. Morris Lessmore is a poignant, humorous allegory about the curative powers of story.”
