For Books’ Sake & Pulp Press Present: The IWD Deadly Dames Rewrite

6th Feb 2012

The resulting collection, Short Stack, is available for Kindle now (paperback version coming soon!), featuring ten twisted tales of heroines hell-bent on vengeance, reanimated corpses, post-apocalyptic sex and much, much more.

We’re going to be telling you all about it (and giving you an exclusive chance to hear some of the stories) at a special event on International Women’s Day.

Taking place on Thursday 8th March 2012 from 7.30pm, we’ll be presenting The Deadly Dames Rewrite at Deptford Lounge in London.

Join Short Stack authors Bernadette Russell and Shelagh M. Rowan-Legg, For Books’ Sake founding editor Jane Bradley and Pulp Press publishers Danny Bowman for selected readings from the anthology and a Q&A.

Best of all, it’s free. You can reserve your space by ringing the box office at The Albany on 020 8692 4446.

Deptford Lounge is easily accessible by train to Deptford BR (1 minute walk), Deptford Bridge DLR (5 mins), or New Cross BR and East London Line (7 mins). For more details on how to get there, head here.

Can’t wait until March? Later this week we’re going to be telling you about how you can get your mitts on Short Stack before then, and a special promotion that we’ve got coming up…

Until then, put the date in your diaries. We can’t wait to see you!
