And for those that feel their concerns about capitalism and a poisonous Western culture are still not being heard, collectives like Natterjack Press have all the information you need about grassroots activism and resisting the system.

Natterjack Press is a non-profit anarchist publishing and distributing collective in the UK. Their books, magazines and pamphlets cover a range of issues from feminism to environmentalism.

They also support a collection of political artists and musicians, and links to listen to or purchase their work are available on the website.

Their magazine distribution includes 325, an irregular anarchist magazine dedicated to ideals of a free society, as well as giving a voice to political prisoners.

Last Hours is a bi-annual punk and radical culture zine, and Incendio is a bilingual publication addresses struggles in Latin America.

Their recommended book and film list, available to purchase directly from the website, includes Stan Cox’s Sick Planet, a publication that outlines the harm corporate food and pharmaceutical industries are doing to environments and communities across the world.

Also on the list is The Ethical Slut, exploring non-traditional relationships, and Return, a book examining the desire to reject our technologically-reliant present and re-connect with the Earth.

Natterjack’s most recent publication, from American resistance collective Team Colors, focuses on current grassroots projects in the U.S. with the intention of inspiring similar radical community organising in the U.K and beyond.Winds from Below: Radical Community Organizing to Make a Revolution Possible is available here for £5.50.

Publications on the website are grouped not only by type by also by topic, so it is possible to look through their recommended literature on Animals, War, Race, Gender, etc.

With such a wide range of subject matter put together with passion and purpose, it’s possible that in this era of political turbulence and uncertainty, Natterjack might just have the answers you’re looking for.
