I_Capture_the_Castle_Dodie_SmithThe last For Books’ Sake Book Club was a roaring success (assuming we are judging such things upon the resulting hangovers) and we came away inspired and raring for round two.

We had a poll to find our next book, and the results are in:

Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood
The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver

So, on 29th November at 7pm we’ll be discussing I Capture the Castle at The Miller near London Bridge. Yes those are nipple tassels on their homepage. No, they are not mandatory for all attendees. Yes, I write this sitting in the kitchen sink…

Oh I really want to come but it’s hard making London on a week night and still getting to work … will try though!

Btw, how do you join the poll? And will the other choices be coming up next?

    • Jane Bradley says:

Hope you can make it, Sarah! But if not you can always join in via Twitter instead – it’s what I’ll be doing all the way from Manchester. We did the poll on Facebook, and we’ve not decided which one we’ll be doing next yet. We’ll keep you posted though!
