Invisible and Upside Down Bookshelves

If you’re anything like me, your bedroom, house and garden are probably littered with piles of books that you vaguely plan to transform into a magnificent wall that stuns your friends and family as they gasp: ‘look at your wonderful library’ instead of: ‘how on earth do you find anything around here?’
I had previously dismissed putting up shelves as something my dad did whilst swearing a bit and sweating a lot, but I have tried this, and not only does it work but it looks pretty cool.
We’ve featured the invisible bookshelf before, but now you can also make your own. Guiding you step-by-step, there are tutorials at Instructables showing you how to adorn your walls with both invisible and upside-down bookshelves.
They look great together too – if you’ve got a large white wall, then it’s time to get creative and colour-coordinated. Or for more ideas, take a look at these bookshelves made from books over on Dornob.
