Calling Love & Lust Flash Fiction Submissions for FlashTag!

25th Jul 2011

Cast your mind back to May, when we had our standing-room-only celebration of Books & Blues at Chorlton Arts Festival. Remember the Flash Mob Writing Competition that happened as part of CAF at around the same time? The writing collective behind it are back, and they want you.

Love scribbling short shorts? Want to get involved? Five award-winning authors and bloggers (including Sarah Clare-Conlon from the wonderful Words & Fixtures) will be judging submissions of up to 400 words on the themes of love and lust, and you’ve got until Sunday 8th August to get your entries in.

The best will be showcased in an anthology published later this year, launched at a smutty and salacious literary shindig at this year’s annual Didsbury Arts Festival. For more details, follow FlashTag on Twitter, or see the website.

And in case 400 words just isn’t enough, you’ve got until midnight on Monday 15th August to get your entries in for our pulp fiction competition!
