Bradford Zine Fayre

Bradford_Zine_Fayre_2011

If you’ll be in London this weekend, then we know where you’ll be: at our Scream Queens shindig at Bromley Literary Festival, of course. But if you’re based up North, you could do much worse than spending this Saturday investigating Bradford Zine Fayre.

Taking place from 12pm until 4pm at the Impressions Gallery, entry is free, and as well as all sorts of wonderful self-published wares for sale, there’ll be a free zines table too, followed by zine-themed film screenings at the nearby 1in12 Club once the Zine Fayre’s done and dusted.

Among the stalls selling self-published zines, stationery, art and illustration, you can expect to find short stories from Mujinga, hand-drawn, screen-printed illustration, prints and accessories from Hello Memo, poetry and photography from Leeds Surrealist Group, plus Radical Routes, The Print Project and Jeez Louise (formerly the Manifesta distro).

Let us know if you’ll be attending, and if so, what treasures you’ve got your eye on!

(Thanks to Rachel Kaye from Footsteps in the Dark Zine for the image and info about this!)
