Win! Orange and Grazia Writers’ Evening at Southbank Centre
On Tuesday 7th June, the Southbank Centre is hosting a special shindig that you won’t want to miss. It’s the first ever writers’ evening by Orange and Grazia, chaired by Orange Prize co-founder Kate Mosse (pictured), who you might remember was also a panellist earlier this year at the ICA’s Novel Women event.
Starting with a discussion between Kate Mosse and author Sadie Jones (whose début novel The Outcast was shortlisted for the Orange Prize in 2008), the event also features a ‘writer’s clinic,’ with a chance for the audience to quizz a panel of industry experts, including award-winning literary agent Clare Alexander and Jean Kwok, whose début novel Girl in Translation is already a New York Times bestseller published in fifteen countries.
Like the sound of it all? We’ve got two tickets worth £20 to give away, and to be in with a chance to win all you need to do is comment on this post or send us an email by midday on Friday 3rd June. We’ll notify the winner later that day. Good luck!
Jane Bradley

Ooh, love the sound of this! Consider me please
A wonderful opportunity to ask questions from talented writers! Yes please!
Right, ladies, I knew Kate Mosse when I worked in book publishing and she’s lovely. Whoever gets these tickets will have a great time. Please check out my humble other blog for reasons to give me the tickets: http://holmeschapel.blogspot.com/2010/04/no-smoking-by-lucy-lowe.html
Could lead to a “writers in Black & white” sequel. But work apart would be such a pleasure to attend.
Would love this great opportunity. Many thanks
I would love to be considered for these tickets. As an aspiring writer it would be a fantastic opportunity.
Caroline
I’ll throw my hat in the ring for this too thanks!
Yes, please! The Outcast is one of my all time favourites and I would love to see so many inspiring women writers in discussion. Lots of parts of me are crossed and it’s most uncomfortable, so please put me out of my misery with two tickets …
