For Books’ Sake Presents: The Quiz Returns for Round 3!
It’s back… The popular monthly pub quiz where we grill you about the leading ladies of film, music and literature returns on Wednesday 18th May, at The Horatia on Holloway Road, a beautiful, antique-filled boozer complete with jukebox and dusty curio cabinet.
Presented by For Books’ Sake in associated with the girls are and Le Cinema Des Femmes, prizes this time around include a full set of all twenty-five World Book Night classics, tickets and goodies from the London Rollergirls, VIP events tickets and much more.
There’ll be brownies and cupcakes available to buy from Cherry Picked, and all the food and booze you could ask for from the bar. So, if you know your Marlene Dietrich from your Marilyn Monroe, your Patti Smith from your PJ Harvey and your Jacqueline Wilson from your Jeanette Winterson, then round up a team of up to four of your cleverest cohorts and get the date in your dairy.
