Nonsuch Book
Being cursed with an absent-minded memory (resulting in abandoned cups of tea all over the house and an almost daily ransacking of every room in search of my spectacles), I can’t remember how or when I first came across Frances Evangelista‘s beautiful blog, Nonsuch Book.
But ever since that first fateful stumble through cyberspace that took me to it, I’ve returned many times. A self-confessed ‘print junkie,’ Frances posts an assortment of news, reviews and other features that will have bibliophiles drooling with desire all over their keyboards.
As well as updates about Frances’ latest acquisitions and responses to what she’s been reading, Nonsuch Book also regularly features beautiful book-based design and unique editions, such as her recent post on Jonathan Safran Foer‘s Tree of Codes (pictured above).
By far and away my favourite section of Nonsuch Book, the ‘Book Lust’ category has given me many an hour of daydreaming and wistful sighing about whether the gorgeous items within could ever be mine. The daily fantasies about my dream library may have already existed, but these days its shelves are much better looking!
In addition to all that, there’s challenges, contests and giveaways, plus a sidebar that lets you nosey through Frances’ current reading pile. What more could you want?
Know a booksy blog you think we’d love? Tell us your favourites and they might end up being featured!
