Kartell Bookworm Shelving

I’ve seen some strange storage strategies for books in my time (my own teetering bedside tower is not at all innovative, but it does guilt me into staying awake long past my bedtime to read, as well as cause nightmares about suffocating in my sleep when the tower eventually topples).
But this Kartell Bookworm shelving is a novel (pun intended) idea, not least because it’s made from flexible PVC, so you can contort into whatever unlikely shape you like before fixing it into the wall.
And if, like me, your books are your most beloved possessions, this could be an ideal way to give them the pride of place they deserve.
Maybe I need to invest in one and make a feature out of my erotica anthologies and battered Harry Potter paperbacks, instead of waking up with the pages stuck to my face with drool after they’ve slid from the bedside table tower onto the pillows.
If you want to do the same, they’re available exclusively online at Heal’s, with prices starting from £212.

That’s really quite amazing, I want one!
I know! It’d be so much fun contorting it into all sorts of shapes! Shame it’s so expensive – sadly doesn’t look like the kind of item you could easily knock up yourself at home either!
