For Books’ Sake Presents: Ladyfest Ten Fundraiser (Up North)

Oodles of thanks to those of you who made it to the Manchester leg of the For Books’ Sake literary quiz. We raised (several) glass and lots of pennies for the Literary programme at Ladyfest Ten.

Special thanks go out to Jon at Manchester Literature Festival, David Bailey of Good Grief! zine shop and Poannie Designs for donating some smashing prizes, and to Vic and Beck for DJing and keeping our ears/feet happy.  And by a happy coincidence, our lovely bar man turned out to be a lit-loving chap with a nifty line in Mills & Boon-esque euphemisms.
