Pulp Fiction Purses

High School Hellcats Pulp Fiction Purse by Queen Bee Handmade

You know by now how much I love the kitsch escapism of pulp fiction, from lurid and sleazy dime-store paperbacks from the fifties to the more modern interpretations from publishers like Pulp Press. So when I found these fabric purses printed with pulp fiction iconography by Queen Bee Handmade on Etsy, I knew I had to share them with you. This High School Hellcats design promises “the facts about the taboo sororities that give them what they want.” Sounds saucy!

Fast Loose and Lovely Pulp Fiction Purse by Queen Bee Handmade

This Fast, Loose and Lovely design looks like another raunchy read. Not so sure about that chap with the slicked-back quiff and checked suit putting his shiny shoes all over the upholstery, though!

Chamber of Chills Pulp Fiction Purse by Queen Bee Handmade

This Chamber of Chills purse promises tales of terror as well as a safe place to keep your coins, credit cards and other valuables.

Sin Street Pulp Fiction Purses by Queen Bee Handmade

And last but not least, my personal favourite is this Sin Street purse, featuring the cover art from “the inside story of the vice racket.” They’re $15USD each, which is around £10, and postage to the UK is only $2.75USD. But will I look like a psycho obsessive if I order one of these and keep it in the same bag as the latest Pulp Press title?

Why thank you! I do think I should invest just so I look the pulp-fiction-obsessed part when I go to meetings and the like…

Love them! But knowing me I’d get them all mucky ’cause they’re fabric.
