Penguin, Cath Kidston, and The Hungry Caterpillar at John Lewis
On a recent trip to John Lewis, I came across dozens of book-inspired products that begged to be shared with all you literary-loving lads and ladies. So, for those of you with a never ending need for stationery, here are five of my favourites:
I know a fair few bookworms who love to doodle notes in the margins of their favourite books, so these Penguin pencils adorned with the titles of a couple of Penguin classics would be the perfect gift. Only problem is, they’re almost too pretty to destroy with a sharpener. Grab them for £6 for five.

Whether you’re a studious undergraduate with a ton of textbooks to carry or you’re planning a day in the park with your favourite stories and a mini picnic, this Penguin book bag should come in useful. It comes in several different designs and will set you back £19.95.
I’m trying to get back into handwriting letters at the moment, particularly after a few friends have moved abroad. So this Cath Kidston Notecard book and envelopes (£10) is the ideal size to pop into my bag for some jotting on the go. There’s a mouth-watering set from the Hummingbird Bakery too for a tenner.
Still hankering for some more Penguin products? John Lewis had some awesome Penguin wrapping paper featuring the famous titles, but they’re missing from the site. Instead, you can find them on ShinyShack here and here for £2.99.
Finally, I couldn’t resist these badges based on the classic childhood story The Hungry Caterpillar. Pin them to your bag or wear them like a brooch. You can buy them for £4 for a pack of 9.
