Alice in Wonderland Corsages
Remember those Alice in Wonderland gift tags that we showed you a while back that everyone seemed so besotted by? Well since then (and inspired by my recent acquisition of the Tim Burton adaptation, which came out on DVD last month), I’ve been keeping an eye out for Alice-themed accessories. And when Keris Stainton posted a link to some rather quaint Pride & Prejudice bunting by Nellie & Elsie in her recent guest post for Domestic Sluttery, I had to have a nosey through their website and peruse their other wares.
And although I could happily purchase many an item from them, these Alice in Wonderland corsages are by far and away my favourites. The bottom layer of petals is printed with text from Lewis Carroll’s children’s classic, with the top layer featuring the famous illustrations by Sir John Tenniel that accompanied the original editions of the book. They’re £10 each, with blue embroidery to match Alice’s dress. Pin it onto a cardigan, team it with an Alice in Wonderland t-shirt or jewellery by Anna Lou of London or Disney Couture, and you’ll be the best-dressed obsessive around.
