The Transworld Summer Reading Challenge

Transworld Summer Reading Challenge

This summer, publishers Transworld are inviting bloggers to take part in a reading challenge. Since we never turn down an offer of free books, of course we were itching to get involved. And, if you’re a blogger or even like to scribble a few sentences on Amazon each time you get to the end of your most recent read, so too can you. All you need to do is head over to Transworld’s brilliant blog, Between the Lines, and leave a comment on the post about their Summer Reading Challenge. Then, the tricky part: choosing four books from the selection they’ve listed to read and review before the end of August. They’ll post the next one to you each time you’ve written your review, and at the end of the summer, they’ll even be having a shindig to celebrate the end of the challenge, to which the most active bloggers will be invited for a bit of banter about the books. Sound good? Get your name down here, but don’t blame us if you end up neglecting your beloved/social life/pets for the next two months by having your nose permanently stuck in one of their books.

Is the challenge aspect getting through a Dan Brown novel without crying at the realisation that literature is dying?

What do you think?
