Stella Duffy at the Lambeth Festival
Perhaps most famous for her series of crime novels starring lesbian detective Saz Martin, Stella Duffy is back from a two-year time-out since the publication of her last prize-winning book, The Room of Lost Things. And tomorrow, Wednesday 26th May at 7pm, she’ll be launching her new novel, Theodora: Actress, Empress Whore.
A fictional account of real-life controversial seductress, Theodora of Constantinople, tomorrow’s launch event at Brixton Library is expected to be a highlight of the Lambeth Readers and Writers Festival. Best of all? It’s free.
Theodora is published by Virago Press, and if you can’t make it to tomorrow’s shindig, the hardback edition is also available from Amazon for £11.99.
